Olympic Themed Cereal Bar
My original plan was to rent a yacht with our closest friends and cruise around the sound for an evening with wine and cheese. Sounds amazing, but I realized that’s what I would want for my birthday and not Andy. When I mentioned the plan to him he vetoed it pretty quick. He said it sounded expensive and he’d rather hang at the house with friends.
Instead, here is what we ended up doing:
As mentioned before, I ended up throwing Andy an Olympic Opening Ceremonies birthday party. A night-in with 30 of our friends enjoying the Olympic Opening Ceremonies.
I had a cereal bar complete with Bruce Jenner Wheaties, Kerri Walsh Corn Flakes and more!
I even arranged the cereal bowls in the shape of the Olympic rings:
You’ll also notice the Olympic Coca-Cola bottles, the pop-corn Olympic torches, and the fruit and greek yogurt bar.
I absolutely love hosting parties and wish I could do it more often. A bigger house would be nice… Ahh… I will keep dreaming!
